Welcome to Photopia! My name is Paul Tanswell and I am a photographer currently working wherever the work takes me in England and Sweden. This site is part personal and part professional and aims to show some of the photographs I've taken over the years, some for money and some for fun...although thats not to say doing it for money is not fun...it is!
The site is constantly being updated and hopefully new photos will be added every day
I am passionate about all types of photography and specialise in portrait and travel. Paul Tanswell is a great photographer and has become something
of our family photographer. On our wedding day he followed me all
day when I went to the hardresser´s etc and then we took wonderful
pictures outdoors. Paul has an amazing eye for how to compose a picture
in a creative way and he also managed to make us feel relaxed in
front of the camera. We looked great and the pictures truly are memories
for life!

We were looking for a photographer that could capture the mood
of the day and that could inspire us to take "untraditional" pictures
and create something different . We were not disappointed. Our mood
is present in every photo. Taking the pictures with Paul felt natural
and it shows. With help from Paul, we got many varying pictures,
reflecting our personalities.

I was stunned when we received the pictures that Paul had taken
of our three-month old daughter. With his close-ups of her hand,
her eyes, her foot, he had managed to create true pieces of art and
the most beautiful pictures of our child one could possibly imagine.
During the photo session he also had a great way with little Olivia.
She was calm and happy the whole time and even seems to have developed
a taste for it. She loves the camera!
