Cecilia Holgafied

Amazing calm balmy day, early morning, Tjörn. Light like I’ve never seen since. Probably once in a lifetime thang. Canon A1 + 85mm f2 if I remember correctly.
Somewhere over the north sea

Taken during one of the many trips between England and Sweden.
Emma

The morning sun shining weakly through a thin layer of cloud, a D2x and Nikkor 85mm 1.4. Perfect.
Mucky little tyke

Eating watermelon and playing in the dust is bizarrely something we lose the attraction for as an adult…
O to rekindle that sticky dustiness.
Noctilux Nettle

Stinging nettles (ouch!) have a bad rep but I happen to think they are beautiful plants and well worth a photo. I could see it on my wall anyway!

Armed with my M6 and a noctilux, we decided to head out in the boat one last time before the winter came. I can remember the damp cold air on my face as the light faded and a sense of forboding as winter approached.
photopia lives!

Well this is it, the first post on my new site. It’s been a while.
This is one of my all time favourite photos, taken in Paris I think, way back in 1992 or 3 while I was working at Eurodisney. It was taken with my first “real” camera – a black canon A1 with a 28mm given to me by an old friend who unfortunately passed away few months ago. It’s most likely down to him that I got hooked on photography.
Thanks Frank.
